I figured I’d provide this script as well since it is really, really helpful when migrating LDAP servers while maintaining the same UIDs and usernames.

When you connect OSX to an LDAP of some sort and enable Mobile User accounts (i.e. offline account caching), OSX creates a mirror of the LDAP user account in the local user database. In 10.3 and 10.4 this was NetInfo, but in 10.5 and 10.6 this became another OpenLDAP database.
